Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Franziskus Borrmann (“I”, “me”). I am the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this site. You can reach me regarding any data-protection matter by email at .

2. What data I collect

Information you provide. When you use the contact form, I collect the name, email address, phone number (optional), message, the services you select, and your privacy consent. I only receive this data if you choose to submit the form.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, analytics and usage-measurement tools collect technical information such as your (truncated) IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and interactions on the site. One of these tools records anonymised session interactions (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

3. Why I process your data and the legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry — based on your consent and/or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)/(b)).
  • To understand and improve how the site is used — based on your consent for analytics, and my legitimate interest in operating a functional, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)/(f)).

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses the following third-party services, which may set cookies or process usage data:

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland/LLC) — measures site traffic and usage. May set cookies and transfer data to servers in the USA.
  • Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd) — records anonymised session interactions and heatmaps to help improve usability. May set cookies.
  • Umami — privacy-focused, cookieless analytics that does not collect personally identifiable information.

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, Google Analytics and Hotjar are only loaded after you consent. Elsewhere they are enabled by default and you can opt out at any time. You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and you can also block cookies through your browser settings.

5. Sharing and international transfers

I do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by the service providers listed above, some of which are located outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). This site is operated from Thailand. Where data is transferred internationally, it is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.

6. How long I keep your data

Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and are then deleted unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained according to the respective provider’s standard retention settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. Under the EU/UK GDPR these include the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) you have comparable rights of access, correction, erasure, and objection.

To exercise any of these rights, contact me by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU your local data-protection authority, or in Thailand the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

8. Data security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is, however, completely secure.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
